The weather was beautiful, the turnout was fabulous, and everyone had a good time. The Bob Hanna Classic started with a dedication to it's namesake by Charlie Willard and Bob's son, Rich Hanna. With over 80 paddlers in attendance, they started off with a bang at 10am. Surfskis, K1's, OC's, SUP's and sea kayaks all tackled the 2, 5, or 8 mile courses available. The fastest time was Jasper Cadell with a 1 hour and 39 second time for the 8 mile course - pure speed! Some weren't out for sport, but merely to enjoy a morning with fellow paddlers. Whatever the motivation, there were smiles all around. The food was excellent too.
