"... But those people keep a-movin', And that's what tortures me". Don your orange jumpsuit and stripes, this mini duathalon starts out with a 1 mile run and finishes with a 5 mile paddle into the open arms of prison guards to greet you at the finish. We'll be paddling right next to Folsom Prison and we have been warned not give anyone a ride in our boats! Actually this is one of the most beautiful paddling venues in the world. You'll be paddling under 3 bridges and through the gorge, where a swift flow from Folsom Dam tests your paddling skills as you heed the Warden's stern caution at the turnaround.
Every participant gets a shirt for this race. We'll be playin' Johnny Cash and eatin' prison food at the finish! Register on Webscorer.
